The previous episode had a decent way to give a temporary goodbye to a beloved character, well, seems quite the opposite here. This episode debut Brock's temporary replacement - Pokémon watcher Tracey who comes off as somewhat bland, mildly annoying, perhaps a bit selfish - even when he invites himself to tag along with Ash and Misty in order to meet his idol, being Professor Oak.
Should be an Officer Jenny to deal with those thugs who been physically abusing that Lapras on the beach.
I don't see why can't Ash etc get any water pokémon to help convince Lapras to trust humans and go onto back of the truck Team Rocket again also annoying
Also, as Ash considers participating for the Orange League, not even Oak or Misty mention it's some way of Ash's loss of winning Indigo League, and he still thinks he's a great trainer - despite as one powerful yet disobedient pokémon.
