A gentle, amusing episode.

Malcolm takes Brenda out for the day to Chester, along with a Welsh dresser he's dropping off for his mother.

Not as funny as the first two episodes, but it's amusing enough and watchable, and of course there's a glorious, and busy Chester to look at.

You'll watch and wonder how on Earth these two could possibly be together, but that's the joy of the show, opposites really do attract. Events seem to conspire against them, the whole world seems to be against the pair. The bikers are an amusing bunch.

We definitely discover more about Malcolm, definitely something of a mummy's boy, she's the eternally domineering mother, just love Patsy Byrne.

Perry Fenwick is good as Terry, we get to see more of him here, he's like a working class yuppy, he was very cute back in the day.

6/10.

The third episode introduces Malcolm's slightly posh mum. She does not seem pleased that her son has found a girlfriend.

Meanwhile Malcolm manages to coax Brenda to an outing to Chester.

It does not go according to plan. Brenda manages to loser her helmet. Then they are accosted by some greasers who mess around with Malcolm's bike.

Another gently amusing episode with more of Brenda's barbs.

The fun seems to be Malcolm having that frustrating feeling as he is harassed by everyone. Only Terry seems to be his sole friend.
