A very difficult and nasty mission is coming up....and the crews know it and the Germans know it. But, one thing they didn't talk about much in war films is that the bombers often could not go on missions due to the weather. Not only was Britain very fog-infested, the same could be said of the targets over Europe....and until things cleared, missions were on hold. This episode shows the tensions experienced during this wait as well as focuses on one pilot who is in the local hospital...and whether or not he'll be able to make this his final mission or not is uncertain.
