Catch him dirty and we'll sweat him for the rest
kapelusznik182 February 2015
***SPOILERS*** In trying to pug a hole or catch a mole in the SFPD who's been alerting mob boss Al Doyle, Pat Conway, in the latest drug & hooker busts in the city both Det. Let. Mike Stone and his partner Insp. SDteve Keller, Karl Malden & Michael Douglas, devise this plan to catch him red handed. That's by faking that Keller is in the hospital and near death after a car driven by a member of Doyle's mob side swiped him. Making like a disgruntle cop, in not letting him on the case, Stone gets busted down to a cop on the beat where he's now more then willing to play along with Doyle to get cash, $25,000.00, to supplement his now downgraded police pension.

There's also the fact that there is a number of cops working for Doyle that lead to the murder of Sgt. Baker, Carl Bensen, who was willing to tell the truth to a grand jury about Doyle's activities and those in the department that were on his payroll. This entire plan was almost blown by Stone's daughter Jenanie,Darleen Carr, who discovered that the near dead from a car accident Steve Keller was actually alive and well playing cards by himself in his off limits, and 24 hour around the clock police protection, to the public hospital room.

****SPOILERS**** With Stone wearing a wire he gets in touch with Doyle in how much he want from him to turn dirty to use the tape against him in court. This all backfires when the two crooked cops Rogers & Hill Steven Young & Richard Lawson, show up unexpectedly and blow Doyle away together with his bodyguard Reafro, Paul Mantee, to both shut them up and keep them from exposing the two as the long sought after moles working for him. With a confused and befuddled, in whats going on , Stone now running for his life it's his partner Keller with a squad of SFPD that save him from being blown away by his fellow cops, Hill & Rogers, to keep him from living long enough to testify what he now knows against them.
