Episode 78 begins with Jessica and Billy arriving home safely,accompanied by El Puerco and his band of "merry men," Juan One(Joe Mantegna),Juan Two(Laurie Faso),and Juan Three(Chico Martinez); he also reveals the reason why he is called "El Puerco," because he likes to eat "el puerco".Billy takes his job as El's general seriously,plotting a counterattack against Malaguay,while El warns Chester to stay away from Jessica,whom he refers to as his "girlfriend." (Annie to Jessica:"we've really missed you!" Jessica:"well that's because I wasn't here!") Danny,admitting he's crazy about Gwen(who feels the same way about him),decides to relieve her boredom at the motel by inviting her to come home to live with the Campbells.En route to Alaska to find Carol,Maggie puts a drunken Jodie to bed,but not before he admits that he likes her as a woman,something no other woman has ever made him feel; she admits her attraction for him,mainly because she couldn't have him(fade out).Burt pays a visit to his boyhood Bishop(Fred Stuthman),confessing that he's having a crisis of faith due to the problems plaguing his family; in a curious twist of fate,the Bishop is unable to assist the troubled Sheriff,who realizes that the old man has just died.
