Hugely entertaining

Great episode, very entertaining, but what stuck out most was a young Roger Lloyd-Pack who looks like a cross between Mick Jagger and Richard Ashcroft! I have really fond memories of 'The Professionals ', no way in this world would this series get made today, and that's a shame.

Incredible casting

LONG SHOT is another fun-filled episode with the added novelty value of seeing Trigger from ONLY FOOLS AND HORSES, aka actor Roger Lloyd Pack, playing a Middle Eastern terrorist of all things! Only on British TV. He's accompanied by genuine foreign blood including Martin Benson and Nadim Sawalha. The storyline is by now standard, the boys trying to stop an assassin, but there's a lot of action and fun camaraderie along the way.

Trigger!!

I've got mixed feelings on this one. Loved the fact that the wonderful Trigger proves he can play it straight and not just a brilliant comic (and road sweeper - brooms😂 - ) but the fact the military is again made to like useless cretins really bugs me. Also that at the end they run into the building, which the workmen see, but the demolishing continues. The guy with the wrecking ball just keeps on smashing knowing full well that there are people inside. Ridiculous and annoying but fits for a dramatic end to an action show i suppose. Well worth watching and despite my negative feelings a good episode and well worth watching. Like the whole series.

Long Shot

Long Shot has some dreadful dubbing in this episode. Did the original soundtrack get damaged?

Bodie and Doyle are on the lookout for a Middle Eastern hitman called Ramos. He has a 100% hit rate a bit like his Real Madrid counterpart with the same name who broke Mo Salah's arm in the 2018 European Champions League final and didn't even get a booking!

Ironically the actor playing Ramos found enduring fame by playing a character called Trigger in Only Fools and Horses.

Ramos has kidnapped a millionaire's daughter, he holds her hostage as insurance while he plans to kill Cowley.

CI5 think the former former US Secretary of state is the real target leaving Cowley in danger. A burglar stumbles onto Ramos's whereabouts.

Some good knockabout stuff by Bodie and Doyle as they try to chat up an female martial arts expert. There was no need for that gratuitous shot of Cowley wearing just a towel though.
