I'm just so, so pleased I bought the two DVD box-sets, based on the downloaded series intro alone. There is glorious Leslie Bibb, a fairy-tale princess if ever there was one, and there is Carly Pope, who's got a definite Liv Tyler vibe going here, and these two, as their opposing characters, are letting each other have full broadsides. Guys might slug it out, but these two, they snipe at each other, cat-fight anybody? A boxing ring with two prize fighters might float others' boats, but I'd rather watch these two young fillies confront each other. The word that comes to mind: Delicious!
I watch weekly, on Fridays, it's how I knew TV, so have I got treats in store!
Criticism: I repeat, I think Tammy Lynn Michaels gives a too heavy-handed performance, for Nicky is too obviously a snake, why does Brooke even bother to have her as a friend? And the mother, not much of a performance there, did she get paid half a salary check? Boring, comes across dull, in otherwise filled-with-bright-characters show. Special shout-out, though, to Tamara Mello as animal rights activist Lily. You go, girl! Rooting for ya! Loved the eyes while she was "Under Siege" by that guyish teacher.
As for Leslie Bibb, gee, what do I have to do...? Okay, strike that one, but okay, I'm just a guy... :)
