'A Passage to England' 1975 has a very familiar theme to an episode of 'Only Fools and Horses' called 'Cash and Curry' 1981. You may but wonder if John Sullivan found inspiration from watching. Renu Setna stars in both.
At 1 hour and 28 minutes long, this film manages to hold your attention throughout. Colin Welland produces his usual robust and down to earth approach to everything he does. You can see the ending coming from quite a way off, but you are still left guessing. It is well worth a watch just to see how life looked in the seventies.
