I watched this show quite religiously when it first aired. This is about the only episode that stayed in my memory after 28 years. I remember the potato gun and the car careening off the road. The brother's retaliation was done quite well. This takes us from the police station to the home. Everything was petty formulaic and predictable. The one part that was ridiculous was the mayor's overreaction. She was punishing the whole town for this event. By the way, do we eventually get to see the trial of the shooter?
