The Man with the Face
Prismark102 October 2019
Glover thinks he is being watched by a swarthy looking gentleman. He is not wrong as both Figgis and Norman see the same gentleman.

Glover has been having a fling with a pretty Greek woman called Anna. Her husband Nicos wants revenge.

After pleading for help, Figgis wraps Glover's face up in bandages and tells Nicos that no one answering Glover's descriptions is in the ward. The person in this bed has had horrible facial injuries.

Later when Anna comes to visit, Norman is wrapped in bandages as Nicos had become suspicious. Young Norman is aroused when Anna kisses and caresses him.

I expected a reference to the Invisible Man and I was not disappointed. Dr Thorpe thinks he might be over stressed as he keeps seeing people in wrapped in bandages.

A silly but fun episode. Figgis manages to get a few comments on the state of the NHS. Stephen Greif plays Nicos and Elin Jenkins is the alluring Anna. It is a shame we did not see more of the actress, she looked like a cross between Anita Dobson and Lynda La Plante.
