It's common on these police dramas for the FBI to be made to look like a bunch of buffoons. A very rich man is kidnapped for ransom and the precinct is shut out. Of course, with the help of the hapless Steve, they are able to get back in action. The secondary plot involves a beloved man from Bobby's past. He was always there for Bobby but now seems to have the onset of Alzheimer's disease. It's hard for Bobby who watches his behavior's deteriorate. He was once a boxer and this probably caused some of his brain damage.
