Two of a kind, and they can't stand each other.

Warning: Spoilers
I could easily have seen a Russian version of "Murphy Brown" spinning off from this episode that stars Robin Strasser, fresh from her Emmy-Winning role as Dorian on "One Life to Live". Joining a list of legendary ladies like Eve Arden, June Foray, Nita Talbot, Marj Dusay, Sally Kellerman and Marian Mercer doing Eastern European accents, Strasser is amazingly funny, something her soap directors would notice in her upon her returns as Dorian. Strasser, as Vladia, and Murphy basically can't stand each other because they are so much alike, even their constant changing of secretaries. Here, Mary Pat Gleason is Strasser's assistant, outwardly seeking void of personality, but in a scene with Phil, quite funny. It's a reunion for Strasser and Faith Ford who were on "One Life to Live" together 6 years before, and ironically, 30 years later, Strasser was reunited with another guest star, Ivan G'Vera when she briefly played Vivian on "Days of Our Lives". Candice gets one of the biggest laughs in sitcom history with her reference to a famous cartoon character in describing Strasser. Their brief animosity turns into admiration as they share some time away from work, resulting in a touching conclusion. But oh what could have been done had there been a spinoff called "Vladia Renkov".
