In the sixth and final episode of the first season of "Murder Most Horrid", Dawn French plays dual roles: Mrs. Red, a snobbish rich woman who decides to abandon her husband for her lover, and Mrs. Hat, a sweet poor woman who accidentally meets her "doppelganger" ("how come the Germans have a word for it and we don't?"), Mrs. Red, in a supermarket, full of curiosity follows her to her luxurious house and, when the opportunity presents itself, she takes her place and becomes a loving mother and wife. A simple, fairy-tale-like yarn, with a very satisfying ending. A fine way to close the first season of this very bizarre and generally entertaining series. **1/2 out of 4.
