"Three the Hard Way" starts off well, with Mork and Mindy celebrating their one month anniversary, and a nauseous Mork receiving a house call from doctor Exidor: "I don't usually make house calls, I had to make an exception in this case, I don't have an office!" Morning sickness and strange cravings find Mork in the family way, giving birth to a small regular sized egg that later grows to more than six feet. Mindy is obviously taken aback that she's going to be a father, unable to experience the joys of earthly motherhood, while Mork sits on his prize atop a giant nest. At this point we get the one and only fourth season appearance of Tom Poston's Bickley, who just wants to cry the blues to someone ("I want a girl just like the girl that ran off with dear old dad!") and notices the nest in Mindy's living room, the egg safe in the bedroom (she blames it on Mork's pet condor). Bickley's parting line before exiting the series: "why do I come here?" After he's gone the huge egg hatches in front of the bewildered parents, from which the face of Jonathan Winters emerges...! An improvement on the first three installments, though that's not saying much, Exidor as always a delight. With only Fred, Cora, and Exidor remaining on board, Bickley would be one cast member sorely missed the rest of the way.
