The trial of Carlos Cantero appears to be falling apart when the defence attorney raises Crockett's recent medical problems; the FBI though has a star witness. The problem is they think Cantero might try to kill him before he can testify. To protect him he is placed in the care of Crockett and Tubbs; nobody would expect the FBI to get the police to look after their witness! It should be a simple task but the witness doesn't seem to realise just what danger he is in and climbs out of a window to go clubbing. Crockett gets him back but not before he is seen and Cantero's men learn where they are keeping him. In order to keep him far from the killers Crockett takes him to hide on his boat
that would be perfectly safe if there wasn't a leak telling Cantero what was going on.
At first I thought this was going to be a weak episode as the witness was annoying and too stupid for words would anybody really go clubbing when there was a million dollar bounty on their heads? Thankfully there was a valid reason for this which I won't spoil here. There is plenty of action including several shootouts and an exploding helicopter although it was a pity the one that exploded was clearly a very different model to the one Crockett shot at! As the story reaches its conclusion there were a few nice twists that most viewers probably won't expect; I know I didn't!
