A nice way to close season one.

For the last show of season one, there is a special guest, Admiral Parker, that is set to visit the base. Binghamton finds out that Admiral Parker is kin to our inept Ensign Parker. So to make the Admiral happy, Binghamton gives Ensign Parker a desk job in his office as his personal aide. Binghamton is trying to score some points with the Admiral.

The Admiral is not coy about his nephew's ability. In fact he is stunned that Ensign Parker can even be someone's aide. The Admiral believes that either his nephew has changed or that Binghamton is just as nutty as his nephew.

Finally the true ability of Ensign Parker come through and the Admiral is going to assign him to some desk job back in the States. But when Ensign Parker is caught out in the bay during a Japaneses air raid, the Admiral just may have a change of heart about the situation.

After a couple of episodes that were less than expected, this show brought back the funny side of the program. There is nothing really new about the story but the way it was played by the cast made the entire experience entertaining. Good way to end season one.
