I agree with the other reviewer that Tim Conway did a very funny job pretending to be a dashing young Frenchman; but I'm not sure that the writers overplayed Conway's character in this episode, as the reviewer suggested. I absolutely loved everything that Conway did.
But lest we forget: he would not have been half as amusing without having the great Mako playing opposite him. Mako was my absolute favorite Japanese soldier in this series, and he was always coming into contact with the zany crew of PT-73. This episode just may be my favorite Mako performance.
Of course, how could anyone fail to mention the lovely Claudine Longet. I know that I wasn't alone in having a huge crush on her when I first watched this series in the 60s ...... and that crush has existed through the years.
