DIAMOND FEVER is the second episode of MARTIAL LAW and follows straight on from the first. It has less action but more plot, with the main twist being that we discover Kelly Hu is actually an undercover cop and thus fighting on the side of good. As such, she now becomes the hero of her own fight scenes, and she's not as skilled as Sammo but still acceptable.
I found that Louis Mandylor's character was beginning to grow on me, although Tammy Lauren still plays a rather obnoxious racist. The fight scenes are okay but fairly unmemorable, although Sammo has fun with a brief Jackie-style fight in a china shop in which he's trying to protect a priceless Ming vase. Watch out for the British bad guy with the hilariously over-the-top accent.
