Stanley (Dom DeLuise) strikes out after going through his little black book. His best friend Bummy (Jack Knight) comes over and suggests them going out to a mod single's bar. They go to a clothing store called Mister Mister to find Stanley an appropriate outfit to wear there. At the bar, Stan is misfiring on all cylinders despite his new velvet suit. Bummy tells Stan the problem is his hair's "wide part". He gets a wig at the barbershop that makes him look much younger and sparks a large laugh from his brother-in-law Arthur (Wynn Irwin). Stanley gets in trouble at the bar when he is mistaken for being one of the young troublemakers.
