Bummy (Jack Knight) is leaving for Boston to visit his parents on their anniversary. He asks a favor of Stanley (Dom DeLuise). He's met a beautiful girl named Gloria (Suzanne Somers) and wants Stanley to take her out so he won't have to worry about another man. Surprisingly, Gloria becomes attracted to Stanley who struggles to deflect her advances. When Bummy comes back, Stanley confesses his guilt and they let Gloria decide who gets her.
It's interesting to watch Suzanne Somers in her first adult television role, three years before "Three's Company". This comes only a year after she was one of the most attractive girls ever put on the screen as the illusive blonde in the T-Bird in "American Graffiti". She gives a simple but fine acting performance here, showing she can do much more than be a "dumb blonde" character, as in "Three's Company".
