Lizzie McGuire is absolutely dreading picture day. Her history with providing good pictures isn't exactly the best. This year she is adamant about having a good picture. She is horrified to learn that she is forced to wear an ugly red sweater with a horse on it, thanks to her parents. Meanwhile, Matt fakes being sick by using a flashlight to make the thermometer warm. His plan backfires when his Mother finds out he's faking it. If that isn't enough, Miranda is being hassled by Kate Sanders for wearing the same Orange blouse. This brought me a few smiles because it reminded of a few things back when I was in school. I was one of the people that inexplicably had to wear an ugly sweater for a photo at school. I've never understood Parents obsession for wanting their kids to wear something they clearly aren't comfortable in. They don't realize the consequences it can have on their children. Teenagers have the ability to be relentless with that sort of thing, but I digress. I thought this was a genuine look about the effects picture day can have on schoolers. Matt steals the show with his sick antics. I cracked up when he eats a jalapeño and washes it down with prune juice. I really liked the message in this one. Who cares what people think?
