Sam Tyler is hit by a car in 2006, when he wakes up it's 1973, he has no idea what he's doing there, all he knows is that he doesn't belong there.
I had the same chills watching this as I did when it was first transmitted, I haven't watched this series since it first went out, I didn't think it would age well, how wrong I was.
The story is incredible, it's surreal, fun, zany, unique, it's like nothing else, most of all, it's a mystery, one that has never fully been explained, but one day may well be.
John Simm's acting is quite literally off the scale, matched of course by the magical Philip Glenister.
Fantastic start, loved it, 9/10.
