I watched this one in Okhahoma on a hot night in 1991, and I found it funny, and strange. Poor Corky, the others having no milk in their coffee, taking the dog away (to get a cone, but Corky doesn't know that), and the father saying he can't sustain his current form leads him to think they're all aliens, and he sprays Becca and Paige's faces with flour.
At the end, the rest of the family turn into monster creatures and chase Corky, catching him and eating him. That was scary to me back then, but now it's surreal and funny. Must be even harder for one with Down's to comprehend.
