Pretty good episode. Notable for some very gruesome and violent crimes but also some hilarious repartee by Hunter and McCall. When Hunter directs McCall to do some checking, she says "Me? You're suddenly allergic to files?" and Hunter, when questioning a suspect who happens to be a soldier at a firing range (about the murder of his girlfriend), gets tired of being undercut by a suddenly (and suspiciously) officious sergeant, says, "Who was going with her, you or him?"
Earlier, Hunter, managed to evade a particularly noxious IRS agent trying to audit him by sacrificing his superior (played by John Amos) who ends up having to try to explain some dodgy police cash practices and winds up being audited himself. Not realistic but amusing.
Neither Dryer not Kramer were particularly notable thespians (LOL) but they had a very good chemistry.
