Loved the dance scene. Peggy was a twit. Benny reminded me of Amanda in a way.

Warning: Spoilers
An old immortal friend of Mac's, Benny, who owes money to gangsters who are threatening to throw him overboard in cement shoes, offers up Mac's life. Turns out Simon Lang, aka Sid, was a gangster back in the day and "killed" Mac, also making it look like Mac killed his brother, Joey. Sid killed Joey as he wanted to take over the business and have Sid's girl, Peggy. Benny tells Sid that Mac is the grandson of Macleod and knows what really happened. Sid who changed his name and tried to change his image into someone respectful in society wants Mac dead.

Benny was a funny little guy, wasn't he? But he reminded me of Amanda in a way. Getting himself in trouble and then getting Mac in trouble in order to bail himself out.

Young Peggy is played by Tamara Gorski. She was in 'Hercules the Legendary Journeys' as Morrigan. She looks totally different here. In fact, I didn't even realize that was her until doing a re-watch of Highlander about a year ago.

My favorite part of the episode was the flashback to 1938, especially when Mac and Peggy danced. I loved that scene of them dancing. Adrian Paul was a dancer when he first started out in his career. I think ballet, but I'm not completely sure. He's a wonderful dancer. I think dancing probably helped him with action scenes. Martial arts are in a way like a dance. It's an art that can flow so beautifully just like dancing. There's a grace to it.

Mac is already an antique dealer in this time period. He seems very confident and grounded here. I thought it was interesting that young Sid was a smoker, and then 57 years later he was dying of lung cancer.

I thought that Peggy, who goes by the name Margaret now, was a twit.

"You shot your own brother! You took away the best thing that ever happened to me. Joey was my life!"

Joey was a mobster. He probably killed lots of people. He was no better than Sid. He probably would have killed Sid eventually. Sid beat him to the punch. I'm not defending Sid, but her worship of Joey is over-the-top. He was no saint. He most likely was a killer himself.

Anne tries a new approach with Duncan by not pushing him about information about his life. Things go really well for them until Sid's goon tries to kill Duncan and Duncan had to push her out of the way to the floor. Now here in this scene, I don't blame Anne for being pissed. I mean yes, she's a busy-body, but actually being right in the middle of almost getting killed just because she was standing next to Duncan, does give her good reason to be angry about Duncan not disclosing things to her.

I gave this episode a 7/10.
