A movie is being shot at the dojo, starring Jimmy Sang. A crew member gets killed and it appears that Jimmy was the true target as he has made enemies with The Tong.
I often find it funny when TV shows will have a story about a TV show, or actor, or movie set. They usually portray someone as an egotistical diva. I guess they are making fun of themselves. In this case, it's Jimmy that's the diva.
Mac agrees to be Jimmy's bodyguard as he tries to figure out who's after him later learning it's The Tong. When Mac meets the Tong leader, Johnny Leong, Mac says he's "Bond. James Bond." Let's stop here for a moment. Yes, Adrian Paul should have been James Bond. I heard he was considered for it. I don't know why he didn't get it. He would have been perfect coming with attributes already of martial arts, dancing, good acting, could do different accents, and he definitely had the right look, not to mention charm and charisma. I appreciated the line here. You were robbed AP, but thanks for Highlander, we'll always have that.
Jimmy's diva ways gradually fade out as he learns to be more humble. Mac stops Johnny Leong. Gotta say I didn't care about Jimmy or his story. This was a very A to B episode with a weak story. They tried to make it personal with a flashback to Mac's father rejecting him. But they already used this scene in a better way in season one's 'Family Tree.' I gave the episode a 5/10
