They shouldn't have let the audience in on everything. Tired of them dumbing down Richie. Horton's plan seems silly. Glad to see Alexandra Vandernoot again.

Warning: Spoilers
Horton hires Pete to come between Duncan's and Richie's friendship. Horton also has broken out a female prisoner, Lisa, and is using plastic surgery to make her look like Tessa.

How is Horton alive anyway? They keep bring him back but never explain how it is that he is alive.

The episode may as well be called "gullible Richie." Why did they throw his character under the bus so much? He grew up on the street and has street-smarts, plus Duncan is his teacher. When Richie and Mac went back to the carnival and the guy lied and said he never shot at anyone plus the watcher tattoo was gone, Richie should have known right then that they were being played. I mean he saw with his own eyes. He knows he didn't imagine anything.

Should they have shown everything to the audience? They showed right from the beginning that Pete was Horton's minion. So to viewers, we had to sit there and watch Richie and Duncan get played knowing they were getting played, and therefore it ended up making Richie look so stupid. It might have been cool not to show everything and let the audience be surprised with a twist.

So the plan was to divide and conquer? In part 2 that just kinda went away.

I enjoyed Duncan's flashback to 1730 England. Young Duncan was always so much funnier than current-day Duncan. And drunk Duncan is even funnier. It's a wonder that Duncan would ever trust any new immortal friend after that.

Pete was a patsy and not a watcher so they had no problem killing him later and cementing the "rift" between Duncan and Richie.

It was nice seeing Alexandra Vandernoot showing her range as an actress as she plays an evil look-alike. That was some kind of super-fast transformation, wasn't it?

Who were all those people at Pete's funeral? I get his mother being there, but what about the others. He was a guy on the move. He had that many friends? Just struck me as unbelievable.

Dumbing down Richie, letting the audience in on the whole plan, and Horton's plan seeming too elaborate weakened the story. I mean if a mortal wanted to kill Duncan, it seems like it would be pretty easy to walk up to him and then shoot him. He's out and about all the time. I gave the episode a 7/10
