Six ( And A Half! ) Ghosts!

Warning: Spoilers
Albert turns up at the junkyard in a cab, and takes the Double Deckers to see a stately home in the English countryside. Because this is an American funded show, we are treated to an explanation of what a stately home is. Then off everyone goes.

The house is rumoured to be haunted by the ghost of Anne Boleyn, second wife of that old rascal Henry The Eighth. Billie scoffs at the idea of a ghost.

The tour guide is none other than a surprisingly youthful looking Clive Dunn. As he shows them around, he warns them not to break any of the valuable vases on display, then breaks one himself.

Billie and Tiger get lost in the dungeon, so the others begin searching for them. When closing time arrives, they are still in the stately home, and no-one has noticed.

Who will bump into the ghost first?

As well as Dunn, this episode also has the delightful Pat Coombes as a nervous maid. Making a sandwich, she spots Albert outside wearing a white sheet, and has hysterics.

Doughnut puts on armour to hide from the tour guide. Before you know it, everyone is rushing around the musty halls, and scaring the living daylights out of each other. Its the kind of thing Abbott and Costello used to do.

Funniest moment - the tour guide says "walk this way!" and everyone copies his bowlegged gait. I know its an old gag, but the old gags are sometimes the best!
