Warning: Spoilers
Everyone was a victim here! 17 Zebra has good man who went crazy from what Robert calls combat trauma. The trauma causes an ambulance driver to go crazy and Robert is too the rescue. There is P T S D moments mixed with heart pounding action for a riveting story . Robert has a plan. Well written and directed. The actors has believable and likeable characters. The banters and shared experiences make 17 Zebra a strong character driven story. Worth watching! 7 stars.

Did we get a ew director that likes fantasy dream sequences?
koohii12 January 2021
This is a classic case of a 25-30 minute script being bloated out to fill time. Overly stylized dream sequences are blown out of all proportion to the needs of making this an hour-long show. And McCall is barely even in it. Primary message is clearly "Be kind to the homeless", followed by a very heavy handed "Not all whites are racists, and not all racists are white," with a minor segway into "EMTs can get battle-fatigue (nowadays called PTSD) too." Maybe if it was still called "SHELLSHOCK," people would take it more seriously. Investigation is minimal. Mystery is about as deep as a mud puddle. Closest thing to a saving grace is the guest cast--the street preacher is very believable, and William Atherton of Die Hard fame (remember the obnoxious reporter?) plays the veteran EMT.
