"You got to take some time, to let love flow." Orleans

This is part 2 of the finale arc for Edgemont. Well Laurel and Mark have finally made their decision and have become official after last night. We see some of the morning after, Laurel looks good in a red sweater and shorts. Ahem, anyway really like one thing she says, "What the hell are we going to do now." I feel this is true from most to all relationships in mornings after when both have taking that big step with one another and now you're not sure what comes next.

Laurel and Mark are now making plans on their future together, where there going to live and everything else going on in their lives. Both then have a revelation when Laurel discovers that Maggie was going to hook up with Mark the day together and that Mark would have done the same on the day both have made their decision. This just goes to show how close both Mark and Laurel were to losing each other forever and makes me glad that Laurel made her decision in fact both have just in time.

Though for Maggie I feel a little bad, but these things happen it turned out in the end it just wasn't in the cards for both of them. But I think the main problem is simply she waited too long, she already knew what she felt for Mark but didn't act on it while she had the chances; so this just goes to show if you have deep feelings for someone act on it or decide now because you won't get another chance. All I can say for Maggie is she does deserve to be loved and I hope she finds that other in her life.

Really like the last minutes with Laurel and Mark which were sweet as both were just going to spend some time together alone, enjoying each other's company, despite plans not concrete for now they have tonight.

The other major storyline is of course Jen and Chris. We see that reality has finally caught up with Jen, when she finds out a lot more about Eddie that are less than comforting. From those facts, she finds out she realizes this is a relationship that is going nowhere fast.

Eddie doesn't seem like a bad guy but he's not a great guy. As Eddie's former girlfriend, friend or girlfriend have no idea where the heck they stand now, she states that Eddie is a little young for Jen. Ok, the guy is probably only three or four years apart I think, but that little age factor shows that Eddie still has growing to do as he's kind of immature, flaky, irresponsible as he might be a drop out since I haven't seen him going to Edgemont high or any school, but also has commitment issues as he either isn't looking or ready for anything serious.

Another thing why the relationship between Eddie and Jen doesn't work is it seem like he wants someone to take care of him, which is kind of what Jen whether she knows it or not has been doing, as he's moved into her garage. After the facts from reality sink in she does the right thing and evict Eddie from her life, it was for his own good but most importantly Jen's.

Really like the last minutes with both Chris and Jen which were touching. Both deep down still do love each other, they never really left but that bridge between them has been completely reconstructed yet, however we see from this time together both are getting there, the fact that the one delay has been cleared out give me hope. We hear a little about what Chris in the aftermath of their relationship and we see some of his grief has mended and he has moved on as he has volunteered at a children's hospital to help and entertain the kids.

It then gets down to a moment that was I'll admit heartbreaking and put a tear in my eye when Jen finally expresses some of the grief she's been running away from. She then says to Chris she really wanted the child and just breaks down and cries. Yeah, Jen I did too and so do the rest of us. We see Chris is hugging her, which was touching showing that despite their great loss, both are still there for each other.
