The Walls Have Eyes
Prismark1023 September 2023
The Walls Have Eyes is rather ahead of its time. All kinds of surveillance both video and audio, long before movies like The Conversation.

Captain Matt Holbrook is helping out an old pal from the FBI, Burt Jackson. The latter is concerned that fake American currency is circulating and he wants to catch the ringleaders.

Jackson has in his armoury, all kinds of video surveillance equipment to watch and listen to the targets.

At the same time a hoodlum called Bailey is putting pressure on a young woman called Nora (Ellen Burstyn.) Her father has just died and he created the plates for the counterfeit currency.

Nora knew her father was a crook, she does not trust the police but may have to trust Captain Holbrook in order to save her life.

A hi tech episode for its day and a strong performance from a young Ellen Burstyn.
