A purely comedic episode

Warning: Spoilers
You could dismiss "Pretty Angels All In A Row" as a silly episode of "Charlie's Angels", but then you would miss the fact that it is intentionally silly - or, to put it in another way, it is a parody of the silliness of most beauty pageants. It is a 95% comedic episode - the villains are cowboy hicks who don't really mean any harm, and apart from a flash of smartness when they realize that Sabrina has been hiding in their car trunk, they are not exactly models of competence, either. Kris is the angel who shines the most in this episode, particularly in the three following moments: a) when a sniper fires a shot into her room (she looks quite shaken after that happens - it's the most serious moment of the episode), b) when she does some pretty authentic-looking magic tricks as part of her cover as a contestant, c) when she knocks out one of the bad guys with a chop to the neck! Go Kris! *** out of 4.

A cute episode (in every sense of the word) of Charlies angels

Light hearted episode of the popular 70's show involving a beauty pageant. Note worthy of a early appearance by Dana Kimmel, who was, is and always will be absolutely gorgeous. She must have been right out of high school when she did this. Burton Gilliam, a favorite character of mine plays one of the bad guys, and pulls it off quite well. There is definitely a substantial amount of cheesecake that was the norm when this show aired, and this episode certainly doesn't disappoint in that area . Cheryl Ladd does a great job on this show, considering the fact that she had some big shoes to fill. It's easy to forget that Farrah Fawcett was only on this show for one season. Very good episode.

great viewing episode

Saw this last night: it has the cheesiest premise, the chrysanthemum beauty pageant. Two simple thugs terrorize contestants into leaving the contest. Then an angel steps in. The bad guys kidnap a judge, later an angel gets caught as well. Then for the talent contest, 2(two) angels display why they are loved in TV-land. Cheryl is a magician! with legs to die for. Kate does a simple dance in black tights and a black turtleneck leotard that is worth waiting for! Not to mention the gals fighting the thugs while in their bathing suits without messing up their hair! The kidnap scene is light but possible. The acting done for the beauty contest is fairly well done.

Miss Farrah angels are Angels
texasjetman9 April 2013
Farrah will always be a special Angel to me. Cheryl did well filling in the slot with her departure. Watching these old episodes the cars the hair the clothes. Sure takes my mind back to another time and place. Thanks COZI TV for bringing them back. The acting was completely acceptable for this era in network television. I have to think if it wasn't they probably wouldn't find a current audience and no need to bring it back. The Angels in Flight episode I enjoy since it has an Aviation background including a little bit of vintage airport footage. The clothes I just can't stop smiling about how we all dressed back in this time.

"Charlie's Angels" ventures into satire territory and pulls it off beautfully!

Warning: Spoilers
"Pretty Little Angels All in a Row" (clever takeoff on the 1971 dark comedy-murder mystery "Pretty Little Maids All in a Row") is a near perfect blend of mystery and humor. The writer and director balance the two elements very well and the episode is a very entertaining early Season 2 effort. Patricia Barry is very funny as the talkative "old biddy" who does not inspire hope in Sabrina, who is kidnapped along with her.

There is a line of dialogue by one of the doofus (but cute) kidnappers, who remarks of the Barry character, "She's already got us by the short hairs, she talks so much!" I am pretty sure that is a reference by a woman who's got a man by the balls! Wow. Funny. I enjoy it when a line of dialogue somehow makes it past the censors.

Excellent !

In a bitter rivalry, Kris and Kelly compete in a high-stakes national beauty pageant against the backdrop of an evil conspiracy to fix the contest. Meanwhile, Sabrina and Bosley, posing undercover as a film crew, perform the tough work of unmasking the criminal syndicate.

It all begins with contestants having deadly accidents that seem more like set-ups intended to scare them off. Many contestants drop out due to fear, leaving only a small number remaining. Under orders from Charlie, Kris and Kelly step up to the plate to round out the finalist.

With dangerous rivalries, wardrobe sabotage, mishaps on the stage, and corporate greed on full display, the viewer left with their head spinning. If you can make it to the last 10 minutes without screaming at your television, then you're a stronger person than I am ! What happens when the pageant winner is revealed is nothing short of astonishing ! This is definitely a must-see episode.
