In this episode of "Brooklyn Bridge", George (Alan and Nathaniel's father) decides to get a part-time job in order to earn a few extra bucks. A friend of his hooks him up with a company that sells encyclopedias and it's surprising how good a salesman he is...earning huge commissions. However, as time passes, he starts to worry about what he's selling. Are these encyclopedias worth the cost and what about the terms imposed on folks ordering them?
The episode does what many do in the series...it focuses on fundamental values and doing the right thing....and George, of course, must live the way he's instructed his kids. Integrity and decency....nice standards to live by....and a very good episode.
