The second series introduced Ralph Brown as PC Muswell and Ronny Cush as PC Lyttleton. One of them is black and the other one was not shy on his lukewarm attitude towards Lyttleton.

When an asian family is harassed by racists. Muswell's sympathies are on the side of the racists. This upsets Carver as later the asian family's home is firebombed.

In reality PC Muswell was the true face of the London Metropolitan Police back in the 1980s, maybe even now in the 2020s.

Carver and Yorkie Smith are trying their best to get a neighborhood watch organised in a housing estate that has had a crime wave. Even setting up regular surgeries for the locals.

Galloway has to put up with rabies jokes after being bitten by a dog. They are looking for a Fagin character who has young kids stealing for him.

An episode that ends with a family devastated because of the dislike they face.
