Another cautionary tale with an extra layer.

Sci-fi has often been about how the use of technology can become a threat when in the wrong hands or if it developes a mind of its own, but here the writers used both pros and cons of an invention.

It's about a repelling forcefield intended to help people with a deficiency in their immune system to move around freely and feel almost like regular people. But an unknown baddie is using it to his own advantage and gain.

There's a romance angle with Terry and a patient which itself has thought put into it, but is cut a little short by the limited time. But it has a funny conclusion that will make you chuckle.

Warning: Spoilers
The dream team behind this show (many of the alumni from Batman TAS) knock this one out of the park.

All the elements are there. A cool villain. A side arc which may or may not be an admirer that makes Dana jealous. Bruce stepping out of the cave to do some detective work.

Even humor -- as in, when the maybe new-love-interest calls Terry at home to set up a rendez-vous, and leave a "very important" message, Terry's younger brother forgets it immediately.

My favorite part was the way that Batman figured out how to stop the baddie by a stray comment the new love interest made earlier in the story.

And -- get this -- the writers did not pander to the audience by explaining the connection between the earlier clue and the finale.

You either got it or you did not. Great!
