Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this new feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes .

Sex & Nudity

Prince Caspian and Susan kiss at the end of the film.

Violence & Gore

A lot of violence for a PG movie. There are sword fights, graphic battles, a lingering fight scene between 2 characters shot on camera up close; mice slit mens throats (no blood); a man holds a sword to another man's throat and blood trickles down the mans neck and top part of his chest; people are hit with arows (little blood); A man gets his head lopped off, but there's no blood.

Profanity

There are three uses of "shut up" but no profanity.

None.

A few scary looking monsters.

There is also one scene that involves essentially a slaughter (shooting hundreds of arrows at soldiers trapped in a room) and was rather disturbing even by adult standards and is very intense for a PG movie.

There is a scene in which they raid Miraz's castle but their plan goes wrong and they end up having to run but the gate is closing so a Minotaur jumps under it and allows most of the Narnian's to escape, however he is shot at, which is pretty brutal and he ends up falling flat and getting crushed by the door. You see the rest of the Narnians still locked in screaming and desperate to escape but they realize they will die and then face it,.

It should be noted that by most standards, this movie merits a PG-13 rating rather than a PG one, based on violence as well as thematic material.

In the beginning of the movie, soldiers surround a bed in the middle of the night and all shoot at the bed, intending to kill its occupant (who luckily is not in the bed, but hiding in a closet watching this).
