I have met Rob Van Eyck twice at conventions at I must say that he was always pis*ed and proud. And I guess when he's making flicks it's the same story or when writing them. This is utterly trash but you can easily see that he wanted to make a flick like in those old days. Now that The Afterman was released here in the Benelux he wanted to make part 2. It's weirder than part 1 and it even has some flashbacks from that film in part 2. There is less nudity than in part 1 but now and then a tit do shows up. But it really gets laughable with Bin Laden being translated. Strangely so far he didn't got any problems with that. Nevertheless, there's a bit of WIP (Women In prison) atmosphere in it but sadly it doesn't go that far as the old flicks from the seventies. The acting is really bad and I guess when the Afterman gets head his face is all a joke but it didn't work. It's funny that it got released and still it will have his sheer of fans but it's really not for the main stream. But I'm still looking forward to see Rob's horror flick "De Aardwolf". Laughable and stupid at some times, otherwise it do has the ability to become cult...again
