Great Movie !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
tmsdye3 July 2006
I loved the acting and the director. Wonderful local indie director, great indie film. Acting pulled me into the story. I found myself hoping that Layla's girl "Carla" would find a way to handle Layla's death and move on instead of letting it affect her life. She seemed to always be in pain with the life she had with her mother. She blocked it out and did not give it credit for interfering with her relationships with other people. Her brother was able to move on from the life Layla made them live but not Carla, she was stuck reliving the pain. This film was a drama but the comic relief spiced throughout the film was realistic at least to me. Aunt Kay, Richard Dent's character and the family and friends at the Layla's house were hilarious. The drinking and taking about the past were reminiscent of my own family's antics after a funeral.
