Sadak Chhap review :
An '80s staple plot - The hero is orphaned as a kid by the villain and he grows up in a 'basti' as a kind hearted thug. The heroine would either be a poor 'bastiwali' or the villain's richie rich daughter. Sadak Chhap has both - Padmini as the poor love interest and Richa Sharma as the 'phoren' returned 'mem' who falls for the titular hero played by Jackie Shroff.
Despite not working too well at the box office, Sadak Chhap is one of my favorite Jaggu Dada performances as he not only gets to mouth his 'bhiddu' type language but also looks dashing in the action scenes. Infact, he resembles his son Tiger Shroff in most frames which makes me wonder why don't they remake the movie with Tiger now??!!
