Blaster Master stars Jason, a kid who must pilot a tank named Sophia, through 8 worlds of danger. What makes this game so fun is how at some parts of the game you must travel with the Sophia tank, and at other parts Jason must hop out and venture by himself. Each area has boss you must face, and after defeating the boss, you receive an upgrade for the Sophia, such as a more powerful cannon or a device that allows it to climb up walls. This game is highly challenging, and takes some real practice. Some areas seem like you're only able to win by luck.

This is perhaps the best game that was ever made for the original NES. You are Jason. Your pet frog wandered away from his cage and was mutated by some radioactive material, and then jumped down a hole. You follow him down the hole only to find yourself next to a tank-like vehicle complete with space-suit.
Throughout the game, you are fighting robot machines and mutated radioactive fiends, and at the end of each level you get to add an upgrade to the tank vehicle. By the end of the game, the vehicle can crawl on walls and ceilings, hover in the air, and swim through the water.
This is a very difficult game, but this is what makes it fun. I remember the sense of accomplishment as I finished Stage 3, and then again as I finished the game. After 15 years, I still enjoy playing the game once in a while.

Master Blaster is one of the most exciting action video games! The characters, the action, the speed, and the sure thrill of excitement makes this game a fun non-stop playing time! Below is a brief look how I think the game is!
Game Play: The game play is very good. There is really basic controls here and is easy to perform. Novice gamers should have a good time here!
Graphics: The graphics are wonderful especially for the Nintendo System! The backgrounds are really beautiful!
Difficulty: The game is easy but as it goes on you find out that it will become more difficult!
Music: The music is great! Just fantastic catchy tunes through out the game! In My opinion its some of the best music ever in a video game!
Sound: The sound is great. Nuff said!
Overall: I have always loved Master Blaster! If you like shooting and action adventure games then I strongly recommend you play this game!
