What a true little masterpiece this TV movie describing, as the plot line said, the daily life of a black family in a country town among white folks. I know any of the players. Performances, directing, editing, everything is flawless here. I guess that's the was it was in those days. The typical kind of movie for home audiences, not the scheme for large big screen ones. Touching scenes, that glue you to the screen. You have not here necessarily the bad white folks against good black people picture. Unusual feature, but I know there were some of those among the decades, not many of course, but some, if you search in the right way. A terrific psychological study too, especially focusing on black people for this period, clichés free. Thousand miles away from GONE WITH THE WIND and "Yes Mam Scarlett"...
