The ugliness of the Romanian family
ersbel3 March 2015
This is an unimportant movie. The plot is rather sketchy. There is no story evolution. It is a product of an era where the TV detective stories were non-existent. So that would explain the over all low quality of the product.

But oh, boy! The monstrosity of the Romanian society in all its splendor. The beatings are not just tolerated, they are a normal part of life. Children can live five in a small room that counts as kitchen, yet nobody cares. After all that is the story of what one of the many useless characters describes as "the dark skinned one". The problem is not because these things happen, but the indifference. So in 1976 Romania had a Dickensian life, after some quarter of a century of communism and some 10 centuries of Christianity, yet it was okay simply because those were the low lifers.
