Warning: Spoilers
Neil Wexler's talent as a screenwriter (with very sharp dialogue) is on display in this minor but highly effective Paul Thomas vehicle for Vivid star Christy Canyon. It also has a hard-to-find (collector's item?) sequel.

Wexler's script is filled with film buff references, as leading man Mickey Ray is a movie journalist. He's a self-centered character, married to Christy Canyon, which makes him the envy of every redblooded porn fan of the era (and many of today, too), yet he's carrying on with a young blonde mistress Jamie Summers at the same time.

He even lets on to his best buddy Randy Spears how he loves both women and can't bear to part with either. Spoiler alert: we know trouble is brewing for him, but the script has a very creative twist to the unfolding story.

Christy lives up to her iconic status and gives a wonderfully natural, believable performance. I was a big fan of hers right from the beginning in 1984 when she, Traci Lords and Ginger Lynn were all the new rage among Adult starlets, and frequently appeared in videos together. What surprised me watching this feature for the first time 30 years later is that she resembles in look (not the big boobs, please) and even vocal delivery the great Angelica Huston, a connection I never made at the time.

Danielle Rogers has massive boobs here too, a treat for her fans, while Jamie is alluring jail-bait. Kim Wylde is uber-sexy as a girl on a park bench that the male cast fantasizes about, with Paul Thomas himself popping up in a cameo as Kim's boyfriend.
