Not bad...predictable though

I was channel surfing the other day and caught this one. I kinda liked it, though I guessed the bad guy by the end....oh well. The main guy, Anthony Natale was a hottie though, very easy on the eyes and made it much more enjoyable to watch. I was slightly irritated that the only thing he says (speaks) to Jenny is 'I love you'. As if being deaf is fine but at the end of the day and when it really matters, it's his speaking skills that really define their relationship. It was the same at the deaf school, any amount of speech is wonderful whether or not it's worth it. I think there should be more deaf actors on TV and he's one to watch....

I watched the film the other day after a night out with friends, i found it very well done for something that quite obviously didn't have the big budget it deserved. - - - The script was good, and despite some aspects of the story left very much unfinished (eg. his previous girlfriend..)

i found it very moving that the first of very few words he says are 'Jenny... I love you'. Yes it doesn't have the biggest budget or the best actors but its a very easy film to watch and really get involved with.

I was not really impressed with this movie. Too predictable and drab. There was nothing else on to watch. I enjoyed the sign language touch but it did not carry the plot. More thought should have gone into the storyline.

Seen It All Before

A bodyguard is assigned to protect an eyewitness who has seen a murder. Wow what an original plot , the TV bosses must have toiled for seconds to think up that premise , how long they took to come up with the even more radical idea of making the bodyguard a woman and the witness a male deaf mute I will never know and I have to ask how do these producers find enough hours in the day to think up ideas for such groundbreaking films ?

Yes the above paragraph is sarcastic but I had to find some way to entertain myself while watching this formulaic rubbish and I find sarcasm helps while watching a bad film , though to be fair HIS BODYGUARD isn`t really a fundamentally bad film , it`s just one of those movies you`ve seen a hundred times before usually with bigger name actors and a much bigger budget , not that big name stars and massive budgets make these films any better

Better than most movies

His Bodyguard is a remake of the Bodyguard, but Mitzi did a good job with what the script was asked. If you didn't like movies about bodyguards and romance then stay away from it. So what? She was hired to protect the deaf. Someone can't handle ramifications of working with idiots. Mitzi is a talented actress and it was done well. Sam's character was subtle change from the original and the plot was good. Sam felt a connection via a woman who Jenny hadn't seen in 20 plus years.. Jennys began to open up and things were developing naturally.... if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all.

I really liked this movie. I had seen Mitzi Kapture on the old Silk Stalkings. I think she is a great actress and that is why I wanted to see the movie. I hope she will be in more movies in the future. I also liked the guy who played the deaf guy. I think he is a good actor as well.

I really LOVED this movie! It was SO exciting. Mitzi Kapture did a GREAT job in this movie. She's one of my favorites to watch on TV. She did a GREAT job with this movie & the sign language with Anthony Natale's character Sam. Also, about how her character Jenny was, it was weak when she was a little girl and her relationship with her childhood friend Sarah. It was all great. I give this movie a 10! Mitzi, you did a GREAT job. Keep up the good work! Again, I want to say this was a good movie. It's one of the best made for TV movies! I'll be a Mitzi fan always! >
