Paper-thin premise, but solid sex

I'm a Crystal Gold fan -a buxom leading lady of the VCR era who's forgotten today. This vehicle for her made by the hit Wicked Pictures team of Jim Enright, Steven St. Croix and Jonathan Morgan has a dumb premise, yet the appealing femme cast wins the day.

Gold's acting here is suspect, as she plays a dislikable character Kristin Powers in one-note fashion: condescending to the other characters. Story has her a perfume industry magnate, launching a new perfume with the aid of her top chemist Jonathan Morgan, right-hand man Steven St. Croix and ad agency head Dallas.

Peter North plays a rival perfume industry big-shot, using skulduggery (sending model Tera Heart to steal the formula for the new perfume "Kristin's Allure"), leading to an unusual alliance and a hokey but predictable "shock" ending.

So the lousy Cash Markman script almost sinks the enterprise, but not quite. Casting has statuesque Crystal paired with her petite maid (in fetish French maid costume) - a great teaming. Morgan typically overdoes his attempts at comic relief as the chemist who comes up with a "Midas Touch" magical new perfume (he even has the glasses held together with adhesive tape cliche), while St. Croix plays it straight, vying with North for long-distance cum shot prowess.
