Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

A man and a woman kiss passionately in a kitchen and then begin having sex. The man mounts the woman over a sink as he begins to kiss and fondle her neck; the woman runs the sink, wetting both of them and their clothing. She then opens her shirt, revealing her bare right breast, which the man proceeds to grope and suck on. The woman removes her panties and the man removes his pants as he begins thrusting (we see his bare buttocks and hear moaning from the woman;) the woman wraps her legs around the man's waist, they scuffle across the room in an embrace, and are then shown jumping into bed as we briefly glimpse the woman's bare buttocks. We later hear moaning as the camera pans down from the bedroom ceiling, revealing the nude man and woman (shoulders up) rolling off each other, out of breath, in an obviously post-coital moment.

A man and a woman are shown making out in an elevator. They kiss passionately and the man then rips the woman's dress off her chest, revealing her bare left breast, which he proceeds to grope and kiss; the woman stops the elevator and kneels down, unzips the man's pants, and we see the man wearing a pleasured expression as she is presumably performing oral sex on him. The man and the woman then go to the woman's apartment, where sex is implied.

The camera pans down from a bedroom ceiling to reveal a nude man and woman in bed, presumably post-coitus. We briefly glimpse the man's bare buttocks as he gets out of bed to get dressed and see the woman's bare breasts for the remainder of the scene as she lies in bed.

A man's bare buttocks are shown while he is taking a shower.

Violence & Gore

A woman puts her hands on a man's face and we see blood rub off on his cheeks. We then see a close-up of the woman's wrists which are bloody and slashed. The man bandages her up and has traces of her blood on his clothes.

We see a car smoldering after it had acid dumped onto it.

A woman in bed strongly kicks a man standing next to her after he insults her.

A man grabs a woman by the neck, slams her against a wall and threatens her, she then runs to make a phone call. Angered, she rips the phone out of the wall and throws it to the ground.

A woman is seen/heard vomiting but we do not see any content.

We briefly see a girl's pet rabbit; dead and bloody, in a pot of boiling water.

A woman gets upset and in hysterics, jabs fists at another man before her daughter witnesses the scene and she ceases.

A woman driving, rear-ends another car and we see several cuts and bruises on her face when she is in the hospital.

A man breaks a woman's apartment door open, chases her and attempts to strangle her in the kitchen. The woman then attacks the man with a large kitchen knife and the two scuffle once more until she gives up and the man quietly leaves.

A woman appears in another woman's bathroom brandishing the same knife and begins to nervously run the blade across her leg, ripping the skirt of her dress and cutting her leg, we then see a little blood running down her leg, on the dress and on the blade. The woman then threatens the other with her knife, attempting to stab her. The two of them scuffle on the floor and the woman with the knife tries to stab the other, missing and hitting the floor instead.

A man rushes into the bathroom and grabs the woman by the neck and arm; pushing her head against a mirror, breaking it. The woman retaliates and slashes the man across the chest and arm (we see blood as a result) and he falls into a water-filled bathtub. The man kicks the woman against a wall as he gets up. The woman slashes at the man and he pushes her into the tub, attempting to drown her. The woman thrashes in the water and from the side, we see her hand clutching the knife fall to the bottom of the tub as she apparently dies.

As the man sits aside the tub, the woman surfaces and raises her knife at him. The woman is then shot through the heart by another woman and we see the bullet wound and blood-splatter against the wall as well as blood running into the water as the dead woman slumps into the tub.

Profanity

Some strong language; several uses of the "f-word" both sexually and pejoratively, words like "shit," "bitch" and "slut" as well as sexual innuendos. One gay slur.

People are seen drinking wine in various dinner or party-related scenes. Alex is seen smoking cigarettes in a couple of scenes

Some of the scenes listed under "violence" can be considered frightening/intense, most of these scenes are also accompanied by suspenseful/intense music.

A woman apparently abducts another woman's daughter and is shown taking her to an amusement park and on a roller coaster ride, which the girl shows visible discomfort whereas the woman appears lucid. Simultaneously, her mother is shown frantically driving around the neighborhood, looking for her and ends up in a car accident.

A woman wipes fog from a steaming bathtub off a mirror and through it, sees another woman in the doorway. This startles her and she drops a bottle of mouthwash which breaks.

We see a woman's face as she's drowning in a bathtub and her pupils turn a ghastly white.

Though the movie may not seem disturbing for adults, this movie is highly disturbing for children and teens. The philosophy behind the maniacal attacks done by Alex can leave quite an imprint on children and teens. A few scenes such as the boiling rabbit scene, the final fight, and many others can be very frightening for children and teens. The movie is definitely not recommended for children or teens.

JUST FOR THE FUTURE IT IS RATED R FOR DISTURBING IMAGES, VIOLENCE, SEXUAL CONTENT/NUDITY, AND LANGUAGE
