I recently commented another French thriller drama taking place in Paris Chinatown: FUREUR; another topic for the same locations and also involving partly the Asian community in Paris. This TV movie speaks of drug traffic whilst the other film was about revenge and family feud over a chick matter. Here, you also have a girl, Chinese or Vietnamese gal, but it's not the main link in this atmospheric crime story for which the blues music contributes a lot. The directing is rather lousy, so the cast, the book from it is adapted deserved a better treatment. Typical of the eighties decade style. It remains watchable.
