  • A bomb is thrown into Mr. Warbucks' office it does not explode and the culprit is caught however all the characters seem frightened.

Violence & Gore

  • Rooster's attempt to kill Annie is foiled by Punjab, who kicks him causing him to slide backwards. He lands in a trampoline and is then decked by Miss Hannigan on the head with her handbag.
  • A man tries to blow up Daddy Warbucks' mansion with a bomb.
  • Annie is kidnapped and put in a car by Rooster, Lily and Ms. Hannigan. She is chased up a railroad bridge, and Rooster hangs her by her hands off the railing once she gets to the top. She is very upset, crying, and yelling for help. At one point, Miss Hannigan says, "He's really gonna kill her!" Punjab saves Annie and kicks Rooster off the bridge, where he lands in a fireman's net.

  • Miss Hannigan is drunk in most scenes.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • In the film's climax Annie is chased up a bridge by Rooster who is bent on killing her, and when he catches her she can be seen crying as he dangles her over the bridge. This scene will be disturbing for many children and some adults.
