I am so surprised to see that no one has commented it yet. This is for once an mazing Sam Katzman's production. For once. Lew Landers also surprised me with such a good story where Rhys Williams woud be a copy of Captain Bly, as Captain Blake...I am so glad, proud to speak about this lost gem and seemingly unknown, invisible film. I am French and I got it, how lucky I am. And since thirty years in my library, I only realize now that I have it. Well, Frank Lloyd's film is far better, as you can easily guess, but Lew Landers was a prolific director all long his career. And Chuck Laughton was better than Rhys Williams. So, above all, don't miss this film if TCM shows it up one day. They could make it.
