Pleasant comedy
8 April 2024
A light but quite entertaining comedy with some nice and historically interesting location shooting at Disney World.

Tony Curtis is reliable as ever in an effortless comedy turn and the chemistry between Suzanne Pleshette and himself works well.

The child actress Claire Wilcox is cute and funny and thankfully gives a not overly sentimental performance.

It would have been better to have seen a bit more of Phil Silvers in the movie who's underused, however, it's a very confident directorial debut by Norman Jewison and it was of no surprise that he would move on to greater things.

On the whole a pleasant enough film.
